Mick Lorusso (US/IT) is a cross-disciplinary artist who interweaves musings on molecules, cells, societies, and environments. He creates images, cabinets of curiosity and interactions to address questions about energy, water, climate, and health. 

He received an Ars Electronica honorary mention in hybrid arts for "Microbial Schöppingen" featuring electricity-producing bacteria. He is a member of the UCLA Art|Sci Collective and has participated in urban ecology collaborations in Mexico City with XOCIARTEK. He has been resident in various interdisciplinary art programs focused on sustainability, art-science collaboration, and extreme environments.
