Georg Tremmel will give an overview of my past and ongoing art projects of the BCL. The talk is mainy aimed at BioHack Academy Students, but open to everyone.

About Georg

Georg Tremmel is an Austrian artist, living and working in Tokyo. He has a background in Biology, Informatics and Media Art. He started the BCL (Biological Computer Laboratory) - an Artistic Research Framework for critically exploring Art & emerging Biotechnologies. BCL's body of works includes Biopresence, the Common Flowers Series, and Ghost in the Cell, the Black List Printer BLP-2000 and Delta Gardens. He also founded the BioClub Tokyo, an Open BioCommunity Space and DIY Bio Lab for Artists, Designers and Scientists.
